Melting Monstera Obliqua Gracilis Salvador Dalí Plant

$89.88

Monstera gracilis ‘Salvador Dalí’ is an elegant climbing species in the genus Monstera appreciated for its elongated foliage and artistic, unpredictable fenestration. The leaves are narrow to elongated with a glossy surface and a bright green midrib that stands out against the deeper green blade. Strong lateral veins give the leaf added structure and depth. Fenestrations are mostly circular and appear randomly across the surface, sometimes with slightly curled or lifted edges that add texture and visual interest.
As new leaves emerge, they begin in a softer, gently draped state before firming into an upright, structured position. Extended petioles hold each blade slightly away from the main vine, creating an open, layered look that highlights the leaf shape and perforations.
This variety responds exceptionally well to vertical growth. When allowed to climb a moss pole, totem, or tree, node spacing tightens and leaf size increases, enhancing both structure and fenestration. Without support, it will trail, but climbing brings out its strongest characteristics. Monstera gracilis ‘Salvador Dalí’ is straightforward to cultivate in bright, indirect light with consistent moisture and good drainage. With its prolific climbing habit and evolving leaf form, it offers a refined yet dramatic tropical presence that becomes more impressive as it matures. Outdoors 10a to 12b
